Laudato Si, the “letter to the people of the entire world” (called an ENCYCLICAL) was developed with the assistance of church conferences from every continent. These research and study groups submitted both their regional experiences of environmental problems and economic & political issues along with the steps necessary for safeguarding the Earth and all creation and life itself. Bishop Francis has said in so many words, “Our choice must be the promotion and safeguarding of Earth and all creation, not suicide”.
Fr. Duane Pribula will be discussing the importance of taking action on many of the important ideas laid out in Laudato Si. Here is a brief video that outlines the letter from Pope Francis called Laudato Si. The letter it self can also be found at the link below along with a link where the discussion can be viewed live on our Facebook account. The talk will take place on Tuesday April 28 at 6 pm.
