Jennifer Toso-Kenna, is a school counselor at Davies High School in Fargo, and recently was first runner-up at the 2019 Mrs. ECO International pageant at the South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
The ECO International Pageant is an event that allows delegates to represent the country in which they reside, work, attend school, or that is at least 30% of their heritage. Being 50% Norwegian, Toso-Kenna represented Norway. Toso-Kenna received the overall highest interview score.
Toso-Kenna directs the Miss North Dakota and Miss Minnesota Earth USA pageants and has started her own nonprofit, the Sustainable Beauty Foundation, whose purpose is to educate and raise awareness on global climate change and sustainable living.
Her platform focuses on what one person can do for the environment, teaching and modeling sustainable behavior to show how small changes can make a huge difference.
Toso-Kenna is a 1997 graduate of Valley City High School, a 2001 graduate of Valley City State University, and a 2008 graduate with a Masters of Education in School Counseling from North Dakota State University. She lives in Fargo with her husband Don and their son and daughter.
