NOTICE OF FILING AND NOTICE OF HEARING

A Public Hearing on the application in Case No. PU-21-86 is scheduled for June 28, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. Central Time at the Wishek Civic Center, 715 1st Avenue South, Wishek, ND 58495.
On February 25, 2022, in Case No. PU-22-86, Badger Wind, LLC filed an application for a certificate of site compatibility to construct an up-to 251.6 MW wind facility consisting of up to 74 wind turbine generators and associated facilities in Logan and Mclntosh Counties, North Dakota, as shown on the attached map.
The issues to be considered are:
- Will the location and operation of the proposed facility produce minimal adverse effects on the environment and upon the welfare of the citizens of North Dakota?
- Is the proposed facility compatible with the environmental preservation and the efficient use of resources?
- Will the proposed facility location minimize adverse human and environmental impact while ensuring continuing system reliability and integrity and ensuring that energy needs are met and fulfilled in an orderly and timely fashion?
