24 Hours of Reality: Truth in Action, November 23, 2019

This presentation of 24 hours of Reality: Truth in Action takes place November 23, 2019, from 2-5 p.m. at the Fargo Public Library, 102 3rd Street North, Fargo, ND 58102.

All around the world, presenters from a strong group of over 20,000 volunteers trained by former Vice President Al Gore, will hold public presentations and conversations on our changing climate in schools, community centers, workplaces, and more in all 50 US states and more than 50 countries worldwide.

It’s going to be a great opportunity to talk about the climate crisis, what it means for our community, and the solutions and actions we can take to make a difference. Everyone is welcome!

2 p.m. – Welcome, Ed Gruchalla, President of CLEAN
2:05 p.m. – City of Fargo opening statement – Mike Redlinger Assistant City Manager, Mike Williams, Parking Commissioner
2:15 p.m. – Human Entanglements with Nature: A visual Interlude. Tim Lamey / Dayna Del Val speaking about the messaging and reach
2:30 p.m. – Global warming and its effects: 24 Hours of Reality: Truth in Action, Paul Jensen
3:30 p.m. – Sustainability and our Moral Role, Professor Ray Hammerling Ph.D
4 p.m. – Panel discussion. R. Hammerling/ P Jensen/ D. Del Val/T. Lamey/ M Redlinger/M Williams, with questions from the audience
4:30 – 5 p.m. – Art exhibit open for sale and EV cars outside for demonstration, weather permitting
